TEXANS SUPPORTING TEXANSThe folks at Genuine Texas Beef™ proudly support local Texas communities with hundreds of hours of volunteer service and generous financial contributions. For 10 years, our plant in Friona, Texas, has supported the United Way as a major financial contributor. Genuine Texas Beef™ also sponsors the Spicer Gripp Memorial Roping benefit dinner by donating beef, cooking and serving the meal. For five years our volunteers have run a food safety educational booth at Kids and Kows Educational Fair where they cook and serve cheeseburgers to approximately 1,000 area fourth-graders. |
